  • Both male and female Valais Blacknose sheep have horns
  • They have black on their nose, eyes, ears, knees, hocks and feet and have light coloured woolly coats
  • They have long, curly white wool that can grow up to 15 cm in length
  • These animals are a rare breed of sheep and are both timid and extremely friendly, making for great pets
  • They are reared for both meat and wool, and they can yield 4kg of wool every year!
  • Valais Blacknose sheep are well adapted to harsh mountain conditions and they are extremely hardy
