• A male rabbit is called a buck, a female is called a doe and a baby is called a kit or a kitten.
• After digesting their food rabbits eat their own droppings to further absorb minerals and vitamins.
• Rabbits make very good pets, but as they are prey animals they are always alert and this can make them timid.
